Create a Meta catalog1. Create the catalog and choose a design2. Generate the catalog3. Preview the images (optional)

The “Catalogs” feature in Confect lets you generate a feed URL with fully customizable product images that can be added directly to your Meta catalogs (in Commerce Manager).

Once you have created your first design in Confect, it’s time to apply it to all your products automatically so you’re ready to import it into Meta and start running better Catalog Ad campaigns.

Create a Meta catalog

Once you set up a catalog in Confect, you can easily update the design, schedule different campaign designs, and reap many more benefits of eliminating bottlenecks in paid social content production.

But first, we need to create your first Meta catalog in Confect. So let’s get started.

1. Create the catalog and choose a design

The “Catalogs” tab is where all your catalogs (and their respective URLs) will be stored and can be edited.

This being your first catalog, the tab will be empty. Click “Add channel” next to the Meta option to get started.

Next, proceed with a 1080x1080p catalog and select the design.

2. Generate the catalog

The catalog now has a design selected and is ready to be generated.

If you wish, at this step, you may click:

  • "Add rule" to give certain products a different design (read more)
  • "Add variant" to add more design options into a single catalog (read more)

Adding rules or variants is not required for the catalog to function, and can be edited later.

Once ready, press "Save" and then "Generate catalog"

3. Preview the images (optional)

Optionally, go into the “Inspect” tab.

This is where you can preview what your live catalog ads will look like, and see your catalog with custom designs for the first time.

You can also use the filter on the left side to only preview certain products. Using this filter will not impact the finished URL or change anything, but only determine what you see in “Inspect”.

Congratulations! Your catalog is now ready to be imported into Meta Commerce Manager.
