How to access this feature:
Klaviyo catalogs are included in all plans for no additional cost.

Using a product catalog for Klaviyo is very similar to Meta - it can be customized and use a design.

First, you’ll need to create a design and then a catalog that has custom creatives for all your products.

Lastly, yout import this into Klaviyo so the system can show product recommendations to your recipients.

1. Prepare the design

You might already have a design you want to use, but if not, create the design you want to use for your Klaviyo banners.

Simply create a new design or use an existing one.

There are no safe zones in Klaviyo, so you don't have to worry about your design being covered - you have full creative freedom.

1.1. Use a different resolution (optional)

Note that Klaviyo supports many different image dimensions.

Each design includes the default 1:1 resolution, but you may add a different one to better fit your emails - Confect will automatically use the right format, depending on your catalog settings.

You can add this by clicking "Add format" to the right of the design canvas, choosing the one you want to add, and doing any adjustments.

2. Generate the catalog

Navigate to the Catalogs tab in Confect and click on the "Klaviyo" option.

Make sure the resolution in your catalog matches your design. If you are using a 1:1 design, you don't need to change this.

In this example, we've created a 4:5 design, so the resolution of the catalog had to be changed to 1080x1350.

Then, select your design for Klaviyo and click "Save" in the top right.

3. Implement in Klaviyo

Once you generate the catalog, you have to copy the URL to connect your new designs to Klaviyo.

We recommend following Klaviyo's guide, "Sync a custom catalog feed to Klaviyo" for this step.

You will go into your "Catalog" tab in Klaviyo (sometimes also called "Products") and press "Manage Custom Catalog Sources".

  • IF you already have a "custom catalog source" in Klaviyo: click on it to edit it, replace the URL with the one from Confect, and press "Save".
  • IF you don't have a "custom catalog source" in Klaviyo: click "Add New Source" and paste the URL from Confect into "Source URL". Name the source, and press "Save"
