Integrating the Facebook Business Manager with Confect allows you to pull data from Facebook, and analyze it inside Confect.
This will provide you with an overview of which designs score best in Cost per Purchase, or Cost per Click, as well as how the performance evolves overtime for individual campaigns.
The integration is also necessary to use the Analytics feature, which can show you correlations between different elements and performance of your content. Even without activating an Analytics subscription, you’ll be able to access insights from the last 30 days.
Connecting Confect to Facebook is relatively simple.
All you need to do is go into “Settings” and “Integrations”, and click “Connect” next to the Facebook Business option.
This requires you to have permissions, and access to the account.
The integration does not make any changes inside your Facebook account, as it only reads data and cannot change any information.
It is necessary to give Confect all required permissions (not just checking off some of the permissions). If all the asked permissions are not enabled, this integration will not work properly.
The most common reason for why it’s not possible to connect to Facebook is that your user does not have the appropriate access.
If you only have access to the Ad Account, you will not be able to connect the integration, as access to the Business Account is required.
This can be fixed by either requesting access to the company Business Account, or having a colleague with the proper permissions connect your Facebook Business to Confect.
